Perched above Triopetra beach on Crete's southern coast, this house is conceived as a frame for the sea. Full-height glazing dissolves the boundary between interior and landscape, while a sculptural black steel staircase anchors the open-plan living space. Exposed timber beams and a restrained palette of stone, wood, and blackened steel let the surrounding coastline take precedence, so that the architecture recedes and the view remains the protagonist.
